Ted Fay Report : February 19, 2019
Rick Cox
We are currently in the belly of winter here in Dogpatch. February has been a month of copius ( to the layman that means a lot) amounts of both rain and snow with all our local rivers running like a roller coaster. We are presently enjoying a much needed break with temps on the cold side. Good news though flows are dropping, bad news getting to the Upper Sacramento River requires snowshoes for those of you looking to fish it. Only sane options to fish are the Upper Klamath above I-5 bridge and the Lower Sacramento Rivers. Both rivers are fishing good right now and are worth considering, just remember to layer up.
Cheers
Rick Cox
